One thing that can be termed as common in all of us, irrespective of our age, our occupation, our financial status etc. is the desire for great hair. Be it a college student, a working adult or a person on the wrong side of 50, everyone desires to have hair that makes people envious. Ashwagandha ( Indian winter cherry)


Ashwagandha is a known Indian herb with innumerable medicinal properties. It has been used in India since the ancient times. Rich in antioxidants, the ashwagandha herb contains tyrosine, an amino acid, that is known to stimulate the production of melanin in the body. Since the greying of hair is associated with decreased melanin levels, the use of this herb ensures no premature greying. Moreover, it is also known to stimulate the hair follicles, overall maintaining the health of hair. Also referred to as the miracle herb, it is applied as a paste on the hair and is also an ingredient of various shampoos and soaps.
